This is a great mic, My band has two that we use for live vocals. We started out without a mic case, and these things were getting dropped and thrown around but stayed together very well. And they sound great, perfect clarity, and no nasty buzz or distortion. These are great if you want something cheaper then a SM58, but thats JUST AS GOOD. GO BUY IT.

This mic is great! I found it works better as an instrument mic though. I use it with my 4-track recorder to mic amps too and there is no buzz or extra noise at all. It's cheaper than most high quality mics too.

Rugged and reliable. I'm not sure what the difference is between this mike and the sm-58 but I can't tell, at lease not in a performance setting. I've used it for both vocal and instrument and it works great.

Good mic, spend the extra for the SM58.

This microphone is a good mic. I got it in a pinch before a performance, needing another mic. It worked out pretty well, but, all and all, I would recommend spending the extra for the SM58. The sound quality is much clearer through the SM58 than this, and the price difference is negligible.

The PG58-QTR Dynamic is a mic that is reliable, dependable, and superb sound to fit any voice range! The only difference between this mic and the SM58 is the price!
