I can't believe that SHURE would allow this package to go on the market with these cables, which are junk. It's like selling a new Corvette with used re-capped tires on it...Mics and case are great but what good are they if they don't work because of broken cables? Don't wait till they fail in the middle of a gig....toss em now.

Forget about the cables, they're crap. The stands adapters are a little bit weak. However, SM-58s, SM-57s, windscreen and the case are amazing. That's a good deal.

This package is amazing, great live and recording mics, and saving a little bit of money. In my band we have 4 people that need to be mic'd and have 2 guitar amps that need to be mic'd. Just so happens this pack meets those exact needs!

As a full time sound engineer for a local music venue, This is definitely a great mic package to have. I haven't encountered a situation where I would need that many 58's. However, if there were 4 57's and 2 58's, the package would be even far more worthwhile. Still, for the money you're paying, the stuff you get can't get much better.

The Microphones, case and clips in the package are the kind of great product that you'd expect from Shure. The mike cables on the other hand aren't what you'd want to use for a pro gig. I bought this package and have been using the mikes for over a year and they' ve been everything you could want. I gave the cables to a guy that I didn't like. Poor Guy! The wires were cheap, thin and unlabeled stuff and the connectors were so cheap that there was no country of origin on them. I guess nobody wanted to take the blame. All in all, a great package but you should know what you're getting. I highly recommend it.
