I am a D.J. and I have one of these in my rack. This is the second unit like this I have purchased over five years and I have no complaints. Over time the first unit did develope some of the problems mentioned in the other review like skipping disk and so forth but that was after years of use every other weekend and so on. I just replaced it with the new one last month and it works fine.. I am going to clean the old one up good and I bet it goes back to working..Best bang for the buck no buzzing sounds just good tunes and user friendly!! Take care of your equipment and it will take care of you!

I was pleased with the price and features of this item, but within a week, the disc tray began malfunctioning and the machine began making a loud buzzing sound. The dealer promptly replaced it, but the second model began having problems within a few months. It stopped playing the various tray slots one by one. I am now down to only one that works...sometimes. It will continuously "search" for a full tray, skipping over any discs that are actually in the tray. Very frustrating, as I considered Sony to be a reliable brand....
