These headphones are outstanding in the studio. I am buying 4 or 5 more pair because I know how to easily "fix the glitch". The plastic rod that is on top of the ear piece which has a screw on each side is weak (That's the glitch) I simply wrapped some sewing thread around it several times adding a few drops of super glue every 5 to 7 wraps. The set I bought was very old and were split. I've been using them for about 6 months now and the repair has held up well. On my next set, I'm going to use rubber instead of thread and reinforce as soon as I get them. Why all the trouble, because they are comfortable and sound great.

I've been DJing For 30 years and these head phone has excellent sound but don't last. In the last 5 years I've purchased 6 pairs. The problem is at where the ear piece bends in cracks then the part just stops bending. The reason I continue buying them is for the SOUND.

...for the money, there are better headphones out there. I am not a DJ, but rather bought these headphones for personal recording. They do sound very good, and have an excellent frequency response. They [were] quite easy to fit, and were comfortable for a little while (no more than 30 minutes). However, after a couple months, the hinges on them began to get loose, and now these headphones won't hardly stay on my head. On top of that, the mini jack is beginning to short on me.

For the money, I'd recommend a different pair; Sony's, sure... but not these.

I've had these cans for about 6 years and they haven't let me down. I use them primarily for cueing when I DJ but also as headphones for my digital piano and sometimes when I make beats. They are very comfortable, though with most headphones, wearing them for over an hour can fatigue your head. The adjustable size and rotatable cups are standard features on most headphones along with the coiled telephone-like chord. Overall, they do the job and have lasted me a while.

I got these just for listening to music and doing live sound work. They have amazing frequency response, but they are are so uncomfortable that I can't stand wearing them. If your not wearing them for a long time, they might be OK, but the design of the ear cups is badly done. The quality of the construction is not great, either. That being said, they are the coolest looking headphones that I have ever seen. I don't recommend them, though.
