When you create a loop, the information you set is embedded in the file, so your loops will change tempo and pitch-shift along with your ACID project.

Audio Restoration Tools

These are a must have combination for serious engineers of every level. The Wave Hammer effect will master any song as good as any program available, with one simple click. That alone is worth the whole package.

Sound Forge 8 has been a big disappointment for me. I run it on a very fast XP machine with 2 gigs of RAM and high end sound card, so there's no reason it should have so many problems. Most are plug-in related. Processing audio using any Cakewalk plug-ins or Izotope Ozone introduces pops and clicks in the audio that ruin the file (good thing such things can be undone). I kept hoping an update would fix the problems but so far not. I now do most audio processing in a DAW program and use Sound Forge for the simplest of tasks -- which could just as easily have been handled in Audacity or GoldWave or several other free or much less expensive shareware apps.
