Have been using this sytem for about a year now with no serious problems. One of the bulbs was broken when I opened the box, the bulbs come placed in the can when you open them. NO GELS! if you order this add gels, you will have to cut them to fit because they dont make gels for par38's. Overall it works fine for bar gigs, easy to program chases and use the tap sync. easy to add up to 8 more dmx controlled lights to the dimmers.

This is a cheap set and that is what you get CHEAP. The firt time I used it one of the sliders broke off. I have lost two others. The lights blow if you do not let them cool way down before you put them away. The stands, trusses and the dimmer packs work great.

Good for solo acts of small gigs as the span between the stands is only 10'. Lights like to wobble in their sockets so no sudden jolts while they're hot. T-clamps are plastic so no over-tightening. Had one break due to my own screw-up and this site did not sell the clamp but they sent me a new one free of charge...so kudos to you guys. Overall the look is real good for small gigs. Don't turn the fade down too far on the 1x16 mode and chase, as it will lock up and flash all at once. Easy reset though. All-in-all not bad for a newbie getting into DMX
