im a turntablist and i will never use another fader. for scratching this fader is the ish to buy. its so smooth and light and its built like a tank im sure it will last forever. if you mix though, this fader is not for you, it has no curve adjustment. obviously though, this doesn't affect me. overall great fader.

for what i need a fader to do i have to have the curve adjustment to work...i cannot have 1 sharp cut as my only option. come to think if it I am going to drop the rating another point because the price is so high for a 1 trick pony cross fader. I hope you are happy Stanton.

This fader is optical so there is NO resistance in the sliding from left to right. Also, it is a true cut rather than a sharp fade so it makes your cuts that much cleaner. It is a bit pricey but it could very well be your last fader, since it's optical you don't have to worry about contacts going bad!
