I have used these headphones exclusively since 1997 in the harshest DJ environments imaginable, and they have never let me down. I initially bought them for the cost value. After having tried numerous more expensive headphones I have repeatedly come back to this model for the comfort, quality, and durability. Don't let the price fool you, these headphones rock, and can take the loudest levels any mixer can put out. I've had some DJ shops give me flak for liking these, but I don't care, at least they won't break within 2 weeks! The only thing that will throw some people off is that after some time the earcups will loosen, making it feel like it will fall off. When this happens you just need to pop off the ear cushion, unscrew 3 screws holding in the speaker, and tighten the screw underneath that holds the cup. Under professional conditions I have to do this about once a month or so. The cord is replaceable, and I've only had to do this twice between the two that I've owned. These are my favorite headphones because they are extremely comfortable and have large earcups that completely cover my ears. I also tend to shred even expensive headphones like paper and these can take serious punishment. I felt compelled to give a great review for a great product that has proven itself to me time and time again... signing off now!
