Very good but it is tricky!!

This program is a very good program. I use it on my PC and I do not have any problem at all. You will have to set up the sound card first and create a temple project with all the needs that you will have to record. After that there is not a problem at all. When I record my band live, it works awesome. The EQ and the plug-ins are very good. The only plug-in that I do not like too much is the Rever. I guess it has to be better then that. I am not a computer guy but I put it to work fast and easy. Buy it if you you want to have something stable and good.

Cubase 4 will tie your brains up in knots. You would think that the more you pay for quality the least likely you are to have problems. This software is confusing and non-productive. It is unfair to assume that who ever uses this software is going to catch on to the endless navigation that it takes to do simple recording. User friendly is not the operative word here. When it takes hours to figure out the very basics of recording, it's time to go back to outboard gear and get back into the real world!

So your looking to buy the Steinberg Cubase 4 ? , Well it looks and sounds like it is the best in the market right?, Well that be true if it did't stop working one day, So what happens when everything is set to go but your Audio inputs dont work?, You lose money and Time. Over all it's an ok software. Lots of options , but only if it did't have a brain of it's on and stop working!
