Why does everyone else like this unit????

I used it in my rack for a good 6 months. I gave it 2.5 on Features annd Value, but without great effects those values are useless. I bought this to use as a reverb and delay unit. The reverbs and delays are both terrible. I used the presets at first because I didnt have time to work on my own settings and assumed that it was just a matter of tweaking things a little to make it shine. Well I was wrong. This thing washes out the vocals. Once you have enough effect mixed in the clarity of the vocal just goes away. Just a hair more and the effect is overpowering. I thought it was just me not knowing how to set it up properly ( and I am not an amateur by any means) but when I heard the same unit being used by a large venue in town I realized that it is just a piece of crap. Digital very unrealistic verbs. I ended up using my cheap Berhinger instead and it sounded much better. I finaly got my old Lexicon PCM41 fixed and back in my rack... not that is what a delay is supposed to sound like. And I am now using reverb from my Digitech vocalist live 2 when I need it and it is far superior too any of the verbs in this unit.

I have used a lot of expensive units for reverb and delays, the M-one XL is the top of the line in it's category, price and value. Veery pure sound. I love it, can be used for almost any application. Very simple configuration, but learn the manual so you can see all the things and goodies it can do. Great for any instrument, not just guitar (although very impressive sound for guitars). Highly recommended if you are serious about your rack and want affordable quality.

The M-One XL is incredible!! I have had several digital processors for my saxophone. The M-One XL delivers jaw dropping effects and raises my playing experience to new levels. You gotta try this unit!

Great product because the presets are very useful, programming is easy, so many parameters for adjustment. I use with a Triple C in front for compression and the pair are a winning team. Such clarity and detail in the reverbs, choruses and delays are rich and lush and the vocal patches are very real-world. I am buying a second one of these soon.
