The TASCAM Track Pack T1 combines their US-122L audio interface with a dynamic microphone, headphones and Cubase LE4 recording software.

The TASCAM Track Pack T1 combines everything you need to start recording to your computer! Included in the box is TASCAM's acclaimed US-122L audio interface. The US-122L connects to your computer using USB 2.0 for fast operation and better-than-CD recording quality. A pair of XLR microphone inputs includes phantom power for adding high-quality condenser microphones to the mix. There's an instrument input for recording direct guitar or bass, and the interface works with most Mac and PC software.

Also in the box is the TASCAM TM-VT1 dynamic microphone, great for recording rock vocals, guitar amps and drum kits. A set of HP-VT1 headphones is included for monitoring while recording. The Track Pack T1 also includes a copy of Cubase LE4 48-track recording software. Cubase LE4 includes effect plug-ins, MIDI tracks, notation editing and automated mixing so you can create polished mixes.

TASCAM Interfaces Now Include Steinberg Cubase LE and TASCAM GigaStudio 3 LE
Steinberg's Cubase LE workstation software is now included free with the TASCAM US-122, US-224, US-428, FW-1082, FW-1804 and FW-1884. This software provides 48 tracks of recording and playback with a TASCAM interface and a Mac OS X or Windows XP computer.

In addition to Steinberg Cubase LE, TASCAM interfaces include GigaStudio 3 LE. This is a 64-voice version of our new GigaStudio 3 streaming sampler application for Windows XP. You get all the features of the full version of GigaStudio 3, including ReWire 2 support, GigaPulse SP convolution reverb playback, VST plug-in capability, instrument stacking, iMIDI rules, powerful mixing features and much more. You even get MegaPiano, a sample library based on the acclaimed GigaPiano II piano library.

When I saw the price for this I thought I was paying mostly for the mixer, mic. and headphones, but to my surprise the recording program that came with it is amazing. You can do anything on it from mixing to overdubbing. its a great quality program for anything. one word of advice print the getting started manual in the help bar to move things along quicker
