as a budget drummer these are pretty good. I don't know why people are saying they aren't loud enough, i drum to songs on my ipod and the isolation is so good i don't have to turn the volume up loud anyway. The problem i do have with them is that they need to be constantly adjusted and feel uncomfortable, they are fantastic for drumming, but not so good for casual use, and i think the sound quality is alright. Overall i would buy them again and recommend them to any drummer.

I used this because i was never able to hear myself while recording drum track. The looped wire is a little too short, and when plugged into the laptop i wasn't able to hear myself properly. I was disappointed, but then i plugged it into the headphone input in my speakers which were connected to the laptop and the results were fantastic. They're loud enough no matter how hard you play, and the people around you can hardly hear what you're listening to. A must have for recording drums. I'm getting one as soon as i can.

I just got these for drumming purposes. I had been using Skull Candy earbuds, which work very well and isolate while having pretty good audio quality. But I decided to try these since they're so popular with drummers. They do provide about the same isolation as my Skull Candys do, which is pretty good, but the one complaint I have is that the audio quality is so so and the volume is rather low coming through the headphones. When I play music directly from my computer, even with the volume cranked all the way up, I can't hear the music if I'm drumming. I can hear the music if I play audio through my Alesis IO firewire recording unit, which has a volume control that allows you to really crank it up. Good idea and well priced, but you get what you pay for, which is good isolation but mediocre audio.

I really liked these alot. This is a great deal and awsome. The sound isent really the best but its still good and very good to buy and use for druming I love it. I use it every day and I really think you should buy it too!

If you are a drummer and tired of not being able to hear the music through your headphones, buy these. This will solve that problem. However I do not recommend them for any other use simply because the actual sound quality that comes out of the headphones isn't great. Overall, I'm very happy with the product. They do exactly what I wanted them to do. However, I don't use these headphones just for listening to music casually.
