designer does not know what it's used for

I was very upset to find out that my new Karaoke player automaticly starts to play the CD instead of going directly to pause. You can't even use the pause button until the CD boots up. Obviously the designer knows nothing about Karaoke. You would never want a Karaoke CD to start playing the first song on the CD automaticly. The player also often has an out of phase sound while playing.

I was at first impressed with the VocoPro DVX 880 and immediately bought it. The first gig I used it on, was a shock to find I must have got a defective unit because it seemed to have a mind of its own...in the middle of a song the key would change all by itself and I had to sing right along with it! It turned out to be a very stressful gig because I didn't know what song next it would change keys in the middle of that song. I also had a problem with the CD drawer not opening all the time. I returned it and replaced it with the Voco Pro's "cadillac" KC300 Pro ....what a difference, this unit is awsome! I love it. I've used VoCo Pro karaoke units for years and this was the first time I had such a hassle with one of their units..I guess the DVX880 that I bought was apparently effective, but I would not chance to get another one, instead I was guided to buy the KC300 and it truly is VoCo Pro's "Cadillac" of karaoke units.
