I'm the music minister at the church & they needed a new board & to get rid of the grandfather board. It handles great, I can separate the channels & send music to the annex while we're in church service. I love the options with the send, return & the mids with the eq, it gives you more room to handle the mikes, & control the music.

Great Board

After my Behringer burned up, I was looking for an affordable board, with high quality, good-to-great sound, and good layout.

My guitarist said he was looking at this board and after much deliberation and research, I decided to give it a shot. I use this almost exclusively to mic drums and it's really surprised me. The preamps are nice and clean (however not featured on the 1/4" input it seems) and the sweepable mid is phenomenal. Easy to read and logical layout helps when live sets (fits in a rack very nicely). Really good all around board that we hooked up to an audio interface and recorded our album EP.

This version doesn't have the USB interface or the effects (which cost up to 150-200 more), but it does come with the compression, which is great on the kick and snare. Also, the knobs and faders feel sturdy, a feature lacking in the Behringer as well as the locking power connector and long power cord, also not on the Behringer.

Just a great product from a great company.

Not Too Bad Of A Mixer

Back a few months ago a local church was upgrading their sound system and they hired me to help with the installation. This isn't my home church but when I do go down there they usually let me run the sound. The mixer is great for what they are using it for. I am still tweaking things on it trying to get it set so we get everything out of it we can. It would be nice if it had a or 9 band graphic EQ just to have a little more control of the overall sound but the channel eqs do a good job. The other good thing is the lights on the mute buttons on the channels. That way I don't accidentally turn something off that needs to be on and turn something on that needs to be off.
