I own the Club 15" also, and I can tell you, they are a great deal. I've had them on about 50+ gigs this summer and, though I've tried, I can't kill them!

The Yamaha S112V are great speakers for small to mid-sized venues, as well as practice in the basement or garage with the band. I recently purchased them along with the EMX88S mixer package and have been very pleased. My only critique is that they don't quite kick out the sound as well as the 15" version- particularly the mids and lows. These should be all you need, though unless you will be playing gigs for 100 or more people. Yamaha makes very good quality, reliable pro sound equip at a reasonable price.

These are really nice Speakers. Every one it the band was suprised how the vocals projected, even the drummer can hear them. We use a Behringer Power Amp and the system really works. A very nice set of speakers.

Im in a punk rock band and a month ago we helped organise a battle of the bands at our local YMCA. Since we were the only band that had any PA equipment we voluntered our stuff. We have three of these yamaha speakers, and four hand built floor monitors all being powered by a Yamaha mixer W/built in power amp. I was impressed at the amount of sound that these speakers are able to put out. the sound was great.

for its size, it has amazing low end. not to mention excellent mids and highs. I compared this box (just for the heck of it) to some other cabinets with 15 inch speakers, to my suprise this cabinet performed just as well musically for music and vocals.
