I’ve been through plenty of peavey, Behringer, and Yamaha speakers and these seem to sound the best. The quality is nearly perfect and the sound is crystal clear. I would highly recommend spending the $ on this superb floor monitor.

Rocking the House!

After having my BR12's for a few months, I had the opportunity to trade up to the SM12V's. Immediately noticed improved clarity on the highs and a fuller low end. The BR12's were good, these are great! These are matched with a Yamaha EMX312sc mixer, and the sound was more than enough for our most recent gig at a house party of about 75 folks in a House Pub (what a place!!!) We ran 6 mics and 2 keyboards through the PA and the speakers had no problem keeping the sounds distinct and clear. Love these!

I have owned one of this for personal use in a band and for the garage (5yrs) and it produces a high quality sound. Better sound can be had by paying a lot more but in their price range they are the best. Yamaha brand quality.

Have used in Christian rock bank for several years. Very good sound in it's price range. Yamaha has got the quality dialed in. Good size for small and medium stages.
