This thing is incredible. The recording quality is perfect and it's very easy to set up. The fact that you can link up to four of these makes it all the better, making a great recording setup for a band. If you have the money (which I'm sure you do, this thing is cheap), I would definitely recommend getting one, two, three, or even four of these. It is definitely a great value.

Unstable and Noisy

I got one of these primarily to record speech audio into a pc. I got this one because I have heard good things about Presonus and this seemed ike a good deal. Setup was simple and Vista x64 had no problems loading the drivers. At first everything sounded good, but at random times I start getting a lot of static and distortion on the playback and also on any recordings made while this is happening. I don't know if it is a Vista compatibility issue or if this thing is just cheaply made, but needless to say I will be returning it. I think I will get an Echo Audiofire or Edirol FA-66 instead.

I bought my new at guitar center and paid 200+ for it. It has been A great recording sound card it does however have issues with Windows as it is not windows signed, which can cause your PC to crash or freeze every now and then. When you lose that perfect track and then loose it again you can get pretty pissed off! That also happens in software crashing but thats A PC write? The ear phone input actually pushed into the card so now I have to use another earphone jack coming threw my amp, Also I have issues with the card not working temperarely but unplugging it then plugging it back in seems to remedy that Now for the good...This card sounds really clean and good quality recording it doesn

So I installed it & what not and I was super stoked to finally lay down some tracks, but for some odd reason it was ramping up my sound about an octave or two, almost like my computer couldn't handle it. So I returned it and I now use a mobilepreusb and it works like a charm.
