Just turn on the CD-2e and go. With high-performance stereo speakers, stereo microphone, and a CD drive built in, the CD-2e is ready for action right out of the box.

Take it Anywhere
Portability is a key advantage of the Roland CD-2e. Weighing in at 2 lbs. 7 oz., the CD-2e recorder is lighter than most laptop computers. It's also slim and trim, at less than 2" thick. You can use the CD-2e anywhere since it can run on six AA batteries; for those who prefer to plug in, an AC adapter is supplied.

To enable recording to and playback from CD-R/RW media, use of the Roland CD-2e recorder's supplied AC adaptor is required.
